Northeast Data Corp. today announced version 1.0 of the Gradient Panel ActiveX Control,
which contains two ActiveX controls for drawing rectangular and elliptical panels.
"These two ActiveX controls bring a new,
fresh look to the desktop" says Wade Cobb, President at Northeast Data Corp.
"Both controls have three border areas that can be drawn flat or 3D. 3D effects
include gradients, which give a great deal of flexibility. You can design great looking
buttons, lights, LEDs and frames. The panels are ActiveX frame controls, so you can place
other controls inside them. This makes it easy to group other controls or to design
composite controls for just about anything you can imagine. Both controls use
double-buffering so performance is very good even for the most elaborate border
combinations. Caption, Font, and Font color properties let you label the panels so you can
build real nice looking buttons and lights. They are just great controls for designing and
managing forms."
Our royalty-free licensing agreement allows
developers to redistribute all Superpak ActiveX controls with their applications.
