Northeast Data Corp. today announced the bitmap driver for the popular NED
Image printer driver.
“This has been a feature that many of our printer
driver customers have been asking for.,” says Wade Cobb, President of
Northeast Data Corp.
This extension to the virtual printer driver writes a
standard Windows bitmap file for each page of the printed document. The
exit32.dll provided with earlier versions of the driver, as well as the current
version, produces a mutli-page TIFF file. By replacing this dll with the bitmap
extension dll, bitmap files are produced instead of the TIFF file.
The bitmap driver is available now from Northeast
Data Corp. and it distributors. Purchase price is $69.95. This option is available
to all registered users of the NED printer driver. The bitmap driver is
now included in all current versions of the NED printer driver for the Windows
2000 and XP operating systems.
