FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NED Image
Printer Driver V3.1
Charlotte, North Carolina - June
2, 2009 - Northeast Data Corp. today announced the NED Image Printer
Driver Version 3.1. The NED Image Printer Driver installs on Windows versions from Windows 95
through Windows 7 and redirects print output from any application to the display.
This version of our
virtual printer driver is compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7, including 64-bit versions of those operating systems.
New features include support for shared printing environments such as terminal server, output of text data
to a separate file, and improved options for installation.
The printer driver installs just like
any standard Windows printer driver. The driver icon shows
up in the Printers group. A separate DLL
is called by the driver during each print job and supplies the DLL with job
information and bitmaps for each page. Registered users receive source code for the DLL. Unlike competing products,
complete source code is available for this product, and binary releases of the product
are not encumbered with any kind of licensing, making this software ideal for use
in products developed by other companies.
The standard licensing agreement allows developers to redistribute the driver and
DLL executable code with no royalties.
The NED Image Printer Driver for Windows is available now
from Northeast Data Corp. and its distributors. For a demo of this and other software from
